Day 5 ~ GET OUTSIDE ~

There I said it. I broke the silence. Get out there and touch the earth! Shut off your computer and go. Run.

There's something magical about being out side. Well, maybe not magical, but it really does make a difference in our brain and body chemistry. ;-))

~ Walk on the beach. Feel the sand between your toes.  Feel the wind on your face.  Smell the salt as you breathe in deeply.

~ Work in your garden.  Work the soil with your hands. Smell the earth. Prune your plants.

~ Play in the snow.  Make a snow angel. Build a snowman. Throw a snowball. Go Snowboarding.

~ Take three deep cleansing breaths. Breathe deeply and let the air out slowly.

~ Run Barefooted.

~ Do Yoga

~ Just Get Out There

For me personally, I've got to get outside everyday, for my mental health.  ~ Out into the wild.  It grounds me.  It centers me.  It's where I walk with God.


I'm heading out to the Beach! I'm gonna get a cool picture to post when I get back.
